Monday March
16: No running. Great core/chest/shoulder/tricep workout.

Tuesday March 17: HAPPY ST. PATRICKS DAY! Ran 3 miles, stretched and foam rolled.

Wednesday March 18: No running. Did just a so-so light legs, back and bicep workout. I hate running out of time.

Thursday March 19: Ran 5 miles, but I was scheduled for 6. Ran out of time...again.

Friday March 20: Ran 2.5 miles. I saw a guy I know from the gym, Matt, running the other day. He looked like he was running at about 6.0 miles/hour. He was running at 9.2...for like 4 miles! So of course I wanted to see what running at 9.2 felt like for the last .5 miles. I was sprinting (If anyone ever reads this, no comments about the length of my legs please).

Saturday March 21: Taught boxing.

Sunday March 22: Ran the St Paddy's 10 miler in Freehold. It was a GREAT experience, and a great prep for the NJ Half in 6 weeks. My goal was to run 8 minute miles. I finished in 1:19:12. I'm happy with that especially considering I got off on a 9 minute mile pace to begin with. I felt good and had plenty of kick at the end. Boy, real runners are noooo joke! Some of these people were FLYING! The race benefits the NJ Special Olympics of NJ.

Monday March
9: Day off of running (very necessary). Did some core and shoulder work.

Tuesday March 10: Ran the scheduled 3 miles. Hamstring were really stiff, but loosened up about halfway through.

Wednesday March 11: Great upper body workout...in a measly 40 minutes. I wish I had more time.

Thursday March 12: Ran the scheduled 6 miles. Felt good.

Here's a random pic of Justin...I just love him.

Friday March
13: Ran 2 Miles...not 3. Slacker.

Saturday March 14: Taught Boxing class. My left foot is bugging me lately, especially after teaching.

Sunday March 15: Ran 9 (really 9.5) in Mountain Lakes. Nice run up there. I felt good. Our friend/teammate got lost. She probably ended up doing about 12 miles. I still can't stop making fun of her.

Monday March
2: Day Off of running. I did some upper body work with my sweet wife.

Tuesday March 3: Did 2 miles (instead of the scheduled 3), and did some leg work (extensions, curls, and lunges on the Smith machine).

Wednesday March 4: Did some upper body and core work.

Thursday March 5: Did the scheduled 6 miles. Miles 1-3 were brutal (thanks to a late lunch sitting in my stomach), miles 4-6 were gradually better on my stomach. I kept the 8min/mile pace the whole time due to time constraints.

Friday March 6: Day Off.

Saturday March 7: Ran 3 miles, then taught boxing. Felt great.

Sunday March 8: Ran 6 miles through Caldwell and Verona with my Brother-in-Law Tim. Aside from being ultra tired due to both of us getting back home late from Long Island & the unaccounted-for time change, we both felt good and were done by 8.

I was an emergency fill-in for my friend Geoff's basketball team because he was away. The game was at 5. My legs were a bit tired, but not too bad. I was a little winded though since it had been over a year since I had played. We got killed...bad.
